1400 KM in 3 Days! From Bukhara to Almaty – A Journey Through Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan 🚗🇺🇿🇰🇿 SE2E18

In this episode of my solo road trip from Sweden to Asia, I take on one of the longest stretches of my journey—driving 1,400 kilometers over 3 days from Bukhara, Uzbekistan, to Almaty, Kazakhstan. This trip is full of incredible encounters, cultural experiences, and long, endless roads.

🚔 Friendly Uzbek Police Encounter – Along the way, I’m stopped by the Uzbek police, but unlike what some might expect, their hospitality is beyond welcoming. They greet me with smiles, ask about my journey, and even invite me for tea! Every time I’ve encountered the Uzbek police during my trip, they’ve been professional and kind—something neighboring countries could learn from!

🏡 A Village Celebration in Rural Kazakhstan – As I cross into Kazakhstan, I take a break in a small village and unexpectedly come across a pension celebration. The locals welcome me warmly and invite me to witness their traditional Kazakh festivities.. It’s a glimpse into rural Kazakh culture that I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise!

🌆 Finally Arriving in Almaty! – After three exhausting yet exciting days on the road, I finally arrive in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city. The city’s skyline, modern streets, and lively atmosphere make for a striking contrast after days of driving through rural landscapes.
