In this episode of my solo road trip, I visit a picturesque village in the Hisor region of Tajikistan, where spring has brought life and lush greenery to the countryside. We’re welcomed by a kind and hospitable local family who invites us into their home, treats us to a traditional meal of pilav and fish, and offers a glimpse into their daily life and culture.

We explore their garden and home, learn about the beauty of simple rural living, and later follow one of the villagers on a scenic mountain hike. The climb is challenging under the warm sun, but the breathtaking views of Tajikistan’s natural beauty make it all worth it. This was a day full of heartwarming encounters, rich culture, and unforgettable landscapes.
