Moving My Car from Shymkent to Bishkek – A Border Crossing Adventure SE2E47

When my Chinese visa kept getting rejected, I had no choice but to find a new plan. My car had been stuck in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, and I needed to transport it across the border into Kyrgyzstan. In this vlog, I take you with me from Almaty to Shymkent by taxi, finding an evacuation truck with the help of my friend, and then to the Kazakhstan–Kyrgyzstan border.

The crossing was not easy, my entry was quick, but the car took over three hours of customs procedures, inspections, and paperwork. Finally, I made it into Bishkek, where my next challenge is both applying for a Chinese visa and preparing to send my car all the way back to Sweden.
