Activation and Setup

We are publishing
this topic due to E-mails and calls we had from people of our beloved
Country "Afghanistan" we hope that this help you to set up your internet service
using Afghan Telecom data call service.
How to Add Modem?
-
Connect Afghan Telecom Fixed Set in your computer.

Go to control Panel.
-
Click on Phone and Modem Options.
-
You may be prompted to select your Location Select
Afghanistan.

Click on Modems tab.
-
Click on Add.. button.
-
Check Don't detect my modem; I will select it from a
list.
-
From the Models box Select Standard 33600 bms Modem
(2nd Last one)
-
Click Next.
-
Click on Properties from main window.
-
Click on Advanced tab and write down(sorry slecting and

Click on Change Default Preferences and change follow
control to none.

Press OK to apply changes.
How to Create an Internet Connection?

Go to Control Panel.

Click Create a new connection from left pane.

Click Next Two times.

Choose Set up my connection manually and click Next two
times

Enter "Afghan Telecom" as ISP Name.

Enter "#777" as Phone number
(Without quotes)
-
Enter "test@pdsntest.com" as User name.
(Without quotes)

Enter "aaa" as Password in both boxes to confirm
(Without quotes)

Click next and than Finish it is all done.

To Connect to Internet go to Control Panel>Network
Connections>and Click on Afghan Telecom.
